Switch oil grades again, now. My Savage likes 20W50, some others here like 10W40 or 10W30, some in hotter climates run straight 40 or 50 weight. Go up in viscosity one step at a time, until you find what works. If you need to go thicker than straight 50 weight, something is mechanically amiss. When the heat wave passes, go back to a lighter weight oil as soon as you can. Heavy oils are not good for the motor, they take longer to pump through on start-up, and you can get accelerated component wear if you run them longer than absolutely necessary. Check the tension on your crankcase bolts (side bolts). If they are loose, oil vapor can conceivably blow by them (shouldn't, the inner cases are cemented shut, but it is a Suzuki). Your mystery oil loss should vanish with the heat wave.
Best of luck.
